Similar to our Photographic Garden Route Tour but with a lot more adventure this tour will immerse you in an unforgettable adventure from beginning to end. Well known for its rugged, wild coastline, pristine lagoons, untouched river systems and unique indigenous yellowwood forests, the Garden Route is also the adventure seekers playground and you won’t be disappointed.
From paddling through reed lined channels on the Breede river, soaking in mineral hot springs, tackling the famous Cango caves, discovering spectacular rivers, walking through unique forests and spotting the Knysna Loerie, a sunset paddle on the Knysna lagoon, swimming under waterfalls, ziplinning above the Tsitsikamma forest, Bungee Jumping the mighty Bloukrans Bridge, overnighting in a unique lodge up a beautiful river to heading for the famous Super Tubes in Jeffrey’s Bay, this adventure has it all!
Backed up by Shark Warrior Adventures commitment to Responsible Tourism, we ensure that every aspect of your tour is carefully planned to maximize your enjoyment and learning whilst reducing our impact. All of our meals are cooked with wholesome organic ingredients and much of the cooking is on open fires, the South Africanway. Your guide is a highly experienced kayaker, a seasoned conservationist and will take great care of all your requirements; you are in safe hands. All adventure equipment is provided and safety is a priority.

Activities in this adventure are based on a general routine and flexible depending on group preferences, and weather conditions etc.


Day 1


We pick you up at the Clocktower precinct in the V& A Waterfront and travel out of the city to the picturesque Robertson winelands.
Paddle the beautiful Breede River and enjoy a picnic lunch on a secluded beach.
Back on the river for a leisurely paddle between the vineyards reaching our takeout point.
Travel through dramatic mountain landscape of the Montagu pass to the soothing warm mineral baths at Montagu Springs
Enjoy a buffet dinner and overnight at the resort.
Day 2

Depart after breakfast for Outshoorn in the semi-desert area of the Little Karoo for the Cango Caves Adventure Tour where we explore this magnificent, ancient cave system.
Travel to Wilderness, a small coastal town, a scenic 1h40 minute drive over the beautiful Outeniqua Mountain Pass. Enjoy a padkos picnic lunch.
Paddle the beautiful Kaaimans river to the spectacular waterfall for a refreshing swim.
Dinner a traditional Karoo Potjiekos Dinner

Overnight at a our river camp in Wilderness.
Day 3

Wake to the sound of the ocean and after breakfast depart for the river kayaking adventure through stunning indigenous forests, followed by a walk to a waterfall
After a picnic lunch on the river banks, depart for Kynsna, a scenic 40 minute drive
Check in at Lodge overlooking Knysna Lagoon
Enjoy a Sunset paddle on this spectacular estuarine lagoon.
Cook up a storm with an Off the Grid SA Braai.
Overnight with the view of the Knysna lagoon.
Day 4

Enjoy a relaxing classic Cape breakfast alongside the Knysna lagoon.
Depart after breakfast to the Knysna Waterfront for some curio shopping.
Travel to the pristine Keurbooms River for the next paddle adventure.
Picnic lunch on the banks of the river.
Paddle up the river to a secluded Lodge.
Dinner will be an Off the Grid SA Braai & Camp Fire stories.
Overnight at the unique Lodge and go to sleep with the sounds of the forest.
Day 5


After breakfast, we paddle down the Keurbooms River to our take out point.
Depart for the ultimate adventure, the Bloukrans Bungee Bridge Jump.
Enjoy the thrill of the highest Bungee jump in the world.
Travel to the heart of the Tsitsikamma forest to your Lodge.
Feast on a spectacular carvery, sample some Cape wines and enjoy the log fire.
Overnight at the Lodge.
Day 6
Enjoy a full breakfast at the Lodge.
Depart for the exhilarating Zipline Adventure.
Fly through the indigenous forest canopy above mountain waterfalls.
Picnic lunch at the Big Tree in the Knysna forest.
Head for Jeffrey’s Bay, the surfing capital of SA.
Check in at our beachfront accommodation at Supertubes and head to the beach.
Take a relaxing walk along this fascinating coastline.
Dine at a local restaurant.
Overnight at our beachfront accommodation.
Day 7

Depart after breakfast for the Port Elizabeth airport – this leg of your Adventure with us is over…but check our add-ons; our Meet the Lion King BIG 5 Safari, a West Coast Kayak Adventure or a Cape Point Adventure would work well with this adventure.

Your accommodation is all high quality, comfortable lodges with all the luxury that you will need after your day of adventuring.

BOOKING

In order to secure your place a 40% deposit is required. The balance must be paid 90 days before the tour. Should you book anything less than 90 days before the start of the tour, a 100% of cost is required to secure your booking.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be made in writing. Should you cancel more than 90 days in advance 90% will be refunded. Cancellation less than 60 days, no refund.

General

Proof of travel insurance must be presented on day of arrival.
