Our full day Cape Point Adventure, guided by our resident Conservationists’, is the best way to get to the point! As you travel around the Cape Peninsula and visit key conservation sites within the Table Mountain National Park, we share our in-depth knowledge on the vegetation, rock formations, marine ecosystems, the many endangered wild animals we encounter, and the conservation challenges that are putting them at risk.
From visiting the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens, learning about Sharks, visiting a working fishing harbor at Kalk Bay, to meeting our famous African Penguins, traveling to the southern tip of the peninsula at Cape of Good Hope, sightings of mountain zebras, eland, ostriches and of course, the delightful Chacma Baboons at close range. Lunch will be picnic style at the beach, with all our organic food and refreshments organic, wholesome and preservative free. The vegetation type found here, Fynbos, boasts many unique species of proteas, ericas, reeds and bulbs found no where else in the world in the smallest, yet most diverse floral kingdom in the world.
We explore this unique ancient coastline from mountain top to sandy beach as we travel along the west coast to Kommetjie, viewing the historic Slangkop lighthouse before we tackle the spectacular Chapman’s Peak mountain pass into the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay. From here we travel above Llandudno onto the chic Camps Bay, the bikini beaches of Clifton and into the city to your drop off point.
