This 4-day West Coast Kayak Adventure gives the ethical adventurer a fabulous mix of 4 guided kayak trips, wild flowers (in season), a unique off the grid stay at our spectacular beach camp, topped off with our organic, preservative free Classic Cape Cuisine cooked on the Braai Fire. Picnic among colorful wildflowers or on a secluded beach. Explore the famous Langebaan lagoon by sea kayak. Paddle among the granite boulders and kelp forests as you become immersed in this unique marine ecosystem where time stands still.

This adventure is set in the West Coast National Park and the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve, both designated conservation areas. The area is known for its prolific bird life including the African Penguin, Gannets, Cormorants, Oystercatchers, Kelp gulls. Southern Right whales, giant sunfish and a number of dolphin species can be encountered. Your qualified guide is a very knowledgeable conservationist, highly experienced sea kayaker  and cooks a great South African Braai. Our Kayaks are very stable, easy to paddle so no experience is needed, and all equipment and training  is included.

Activities in this adventure are based on a general routine and flexible depending on group preferences, and weather conditions etc. This itinerary is based on the 3-night tour:
Day 1

We pick you up at the Clocktower precinct in the V& A Waterfront and travel out of the city to the West Coast National Park
Walk amongst the spring daisies
Enjoy a traditional West Coast picnic on a secluded beach
Paddle on the beautiful Langebaan lagoon as we explore this Ramsar wetland site
Travel to your spectacular camp at Paternoster
Book in to your quaint cabin on the seashore
Take a relaxing stroll on the beach
Feast on a West Coast South African Off the Grid braai 
Chill at the fire
Day 2 
Awake to the sounds of the kelp gulls
Reconnect with Nature on a beach walk
Enjoy a healthy breakfast.
Paddle around the bay on our sea kayak adventure.
Return to camp for a West Coast Picnic lunch

The most unique on-the-beach accommodation – small cabins, personalized and themed with spectacular sea views, in fact a few steps away from the ocean. The camp is Eco-friendly and off the grid, powered by solar and gas. Communal cooking facilities and a great fire pit for our South African Braai’s.

In order to secure your place a 40% deposit is required. The balance must be paid 90 days before the tour. Should you book anything less than 90 days before the start of the tour, a 100% of cost is required to secure your booking.


Cancellation must be made in writing. Should you cancel more than 90 days in advance 90% will be refunded. Cancellation less than 60 days, no refund.


Proof of travel insurance must be presented on day of arrival.
